Dr Michael Likely - Psychiatrist

Dr Likely obtained his medical degree from the University of London in 1988.  He became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1997.

Since 1997 Dr Likely has been in private practice in Townsville.  His special interests include combat related trauma, workplace injury and medico-legal cases.  A substantial amount of Dr Likely's clinical practice pertains to post traumatic stress disorder and he is currently researching two books on the subject.   

Dr Likely has completed the Permanent Impairment Rating Scale (PIRS) training.
