Dr Michael Leong - Psychiatrist

MBBS, DPM, RANZCP, PIRS

Graduated in Medicine from Melbourne University – 1972; completed Postgraduate training in Psychiatry in Queensland in 1979; became a Fellow of the Royal and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1983; worked in both public and private psychiatry with special interests in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Chronic Pain, Old Age and Neuropsychiatry.

Commenced practice in medico-legal psychiatry in 2001 and became a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (2003) and completed Permanent Impairment Rating Scale (PIRS) (2004).
