Dr John Flanagan

Dr Flanagan completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1966.  He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1986.

• Trauma and Dissociation.  PTSD (Training in same at St John of God Hospital Sydney 2002).

• Forensic Psychiatry
• Analytically orientated psychotherapy

Dr Flanagan has considerable expertise in the assessment and management of major mental illness, including Personality Disorder, alcohol and drug related problems, cormorbidity and organic psychiatry.  He regularly assesses examinees in regards to criminal responsibility and fitness to plead.
