Dr Anthony Tie - Psychiatrist

MB BS (Hons), FRANZCP

Dr Tie graduated from The University of Queensland in 1999 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) in 2008.  He completed the Advanced Certificate in Forensic Psychiatry in 2009 and became a Foundation Member of the Faculty of Forensic Psychiatry in 2011.

Dr Tie is currently the Staff Forensic Psychiatrist with the Prison Mental Health Service which includes four prison clinical sessions per week (including forensic medico-legal report writing under Section 238 of the Mental Health Act 2000) and has functioned in the role of Acting Director of the Prison Mental Health Service.
